Moorsholm is situated between the moors and the sea and between Whitby and Guisborough.
The many interests and activities of our Village, North Yorkshire and the Yorkshire
Coast are reflected in this Moorsholm Village website.
Although Moorsholm is still very much a farming community we have professionals from teaching,
medical, technical and management backgrounds which makes for a very lively community.
Moorsholm also has an abundance of natural resources which has made the community
take a real and practical interest in renewable energy. The recent ECO project based in the
village looked at recycling and the promotion of energy efficiency and won a
special ecology award in the Calor Village Of The Year competition
